Can't Break The Water Bearer

Can't Break The Water Bearer

A Poem by Kane Hagwood

Can’t Break The Water Bearer

Among many stars both bold and true
Lights who shine upon glistening dew

Of early hour between night and day

Children of Aquarius have been known to play

Best intentions bricked mistaken roads to hell
We understand
You don’t have to yell

The mistakes of progress will always be made
But we weren’t the only players who played

We all hold roles
Some far too many
You expected water bearers to fix it all
And paid them a penny

Repairing damage foolish foes have brought
Leaving what doesn’t serve to rust and rot

Although they say it is our age
We’ve always been here

On the same page
We did our best when no one did
None of this should be left to a kid

It's good hearing from yoi again, author Kane Hagwood, I hope you're doing well and better these days. This poem you've made is very light-hearted one, with clear rhythm and concise speech, it makes this one a good read for me this late into the night. On that note, I am intrigued by both meaning of the poem but also... the tags. Is Squidward an Aquarius? Does that mean I have the same Zodiac sign as Squidward now?.. Interesting.

Humanity faces many challenges but acknowledging our mistakes is not something some world leaders are good at.

Interesting tags.

'Can't Break The Water Bearer'
Kane Hagwood,
This read like a cry to the life within don't forget me.' It seems like the effort of a soul to bring back what is broken and try to mend in this writing. You know no one else may notice but our inner being is aware, our conscious is aware. The last line was nice;
Although they say it is our age.
We've always been here
on the same page.'
Blessings to you.
