Hop Scotch

Hop Scotch

A Poem by Krimson

Back to square one playing hop scotch like a child.

i'm sorry i'm not that good, its been a while.

see it's hard for a jump to go so far.

when youre too busy looking into those stars.

but i'll skip..

 one,

two,

three just for you.

i'll skip the rock all the way to you.

one,

two,

three , i love you.

if only the chalk wouldn't wash away.

oh the rain is making the squares fade.

one,

two,

three, i love you.

i'll still skip for you.

one, two three.

Nice flow of words in this poem. I like the use of the old game to make your point. Numbers allow the reader to understand the desire of the poem. Thank you for the excellent poem.
