Having your heart broken is a horrible thing.

You took my heart and stomped it flat,

the horrible sound of the splat.

I thought you had loved me

but you threw me away like debri.

What had I done to deserve the pain,

it felt like I was being hit by a train.

But I was not enough for you

so you found something new.

You traded me like a token,

leaving me for broken.

You didn't care I was hurt

but I shouldn't have fallen for a flirt.

I wish you didn't have this power,

like how over me, you tower.

I want to let you go

but that will never happen, I know.
