Episode 7: Sanity Loss

Does the Reaper have a mind of its own? If so can he maintain stability or will it completely descend into darkness

Scene 1

 

The Reaper is going to the closest town where the Greater Ghouls went during the night. The Reaper then jumps off of his horse.

 

Reaper: You can go now Banshee! You are free to go!

 

The Reaper walks away from Banshee. Banshee still follows him.

 

Reaper: Banshee...I told you that you can go.

 

The Reaper still walks away. He turns around.

 

Reaper: Banshee...you are free to do what ever you want. You have already witnessed the darkness. Now you must live in the light where you belong. Go...Go to Cali, let her live happily ever after.

 

The Reaper pets Banshee on the head. He then leaves Banshee behind but Banshee still follows him.

 

Reaper: One should not follow the Reaper into his conquest for oblivion!

 

Banshee then puts her head on the Reaper's shoulder.

 

Reaper: (pushing her away) Leave Banshee. You served me for a very long time, now you have earned your freedom.

 

The Reaper smiles at Banshee. He then finally moves away from her. Banshee then stands back staring at him. He enters into the town where there is no light to show his path. The scene shifts to his vision. He sees that the sun is up instead of reality which is during night time, there are grasses, and there are friendly people out there. They come out of their houses and wave their hands hello to the Reaper.

 

Reaper: Oh boy...have any of you guys seen Cali!

 

People: Yes we have Mister Reaper!

 

The Scene shifts to reality where there are Ghouls stalking him. The Ghouls wear the civilian clothing. The Reaper then walks in the middle of the town where he is being watched. Some Ghouls are sneaking around him.

 

Reaper: (smiling) Where is she? I have to tell her something.

 

People: (in his mind) What do you have to tell her?

 

The Ghouls sprint to the Reaper.

 

Reaper: I don't know where to start...and in fact, I don't know how to express it.

 

The vision changes back to the Reaper's mind. He picks up a flower and gives it to one woman that walks up to him, In reality, he stabs the Ghoul in the chest with his arrow. He grabs the head and squeezes it until the blood and brains splatter. In his mind, he pats the woman's head.

 

Reaper: Tell her that I really like her.

 

Woman: Oh I don't think that you just like her, you probably love her.

 

Reaper: (in joy) Yes I do!

 

The Ghouls in reality are running around him. One by one, they leap onto him. In his mind, there are children jumping around with roses. The Reaper throws some toys to the children. But in reality he is dismembering the Ghouls and their limbs fly. The blood sprays from the wounds and severed limbs. The Reaper in his mind runs with the children. He jumps into one house and hides from them. He picks up a present box. In reality he is inside of a bar with a bottle in his hand. He whacks the bottle on one of the Ghoul's head and jams it into its eye. He finds matches and lights it up. He throws it onto the bottle on the Ghoul's head. The head burns and exposes the skull in the fire. The Ghoul screams in pain and agony. The Reaper laughs in happiness and jumps out of the bar. He slices more of the Ghouls with his machete. He leaps from one area to the other and dismember the Ghouls. They all get chopped in half.

 

Reaper: Cali, I am coming for you. I won't leave you now!

 

The Ghouls start to back away. some of them have lost an arm.

 

Maxwell: WHAT ARE YOU ALL DOING..? I GAVE YOU ETERNAL LIFE! NOW REPAY ME AND KILL THAT REAPER!

 

The Ghouls sprint to the Reaper. In the Reaper's mind, he skids rocks in the water. The kids are on the opposite end and they skid rocks at him too. In reality he shoots his bow and arrow onto the Ghouls. They each recieve an arrow and drop down with blood spraying.

 

Maxwell: Oh boy...I don't think these Ghouls are hungry enough!

 

Silvia: But look at him. he is enjoying himself. Is that something to expect from the Reaper?

 

Maxwell: well it's not something that a stable person would have at this time.

 

The Reaper still laughs and slices the Ghouls into pieces. He cries for Cali's name over and over again. He turns around and grabs the Ghoul's neck and chokes it. The head starts to pop off and the blood paints the ground. The Reaper runs around aimlessly cutting up the Ghouls. He starts to trip on the ground. In his insanity, the children leap onto him and lie down peacefully. He starts to wrap his arms around them. He stares into the sun. In reality, he stares into the moon. He gives two Ghouls a headlock and crushes their necks until blood sprays into his arms. He then stands up and stabs them over and over again. He slices the other Ghouls that come in his way.

 

Reaper: Cali...where are you? I know you will find me. Come on, you know me and you will find me. There is no darkness, there is only happiness.

 

Scene 2

 

The scene shifts to Cali. She enters into an old abandoned cabin. She opens the door and sees plenty of cob webs and spiders. Cali sees the old pictures of her and her family. She enters into her own room and holds a doll that is missing one eye. She then turns into her parent's room. She sees the pillows that have old blood stains. Cali looks away immediately, but she still hears the songs and the noises that the Indians make. She then looks out the window and sees the Reaper outside.

 

Cali: MISTER REAPER!! MISTER REAPER

 

Reaper: Please...don't let my appearance fool you! I am not really here.

 

CalI: Where are you then Mister Reaper?

 

Reaper: I am in the closest town calling your name.

 

Cali begins to hear the demonic voices that haunt the Reaper. They laugh at Cali and him.

 

Cali: Is this what you live with all the time Mister Reaper?

 

Reaper: Yes...it is, and I have learned to live with it.

 

Cali: No you haven't, you always say dat you live with the Darkness.

 

Reaper: That is because I am the Darkness.

 

Cali: Don't you have a real name or somethin Mister.

 

Reaper: I forgot my name a long time ago. I can no longer remember it. I wouldn't want to take that human name any longer if I knew it anyway.

 

Cali: You are not the darkness Mister. You are really a human. please accept that and come with me.

 

Reaper: If you want to be where I really am, then you will die. I am currently fighting Ghouls in a town. These Ghouls are premature. They have been just turned.

 

Cali: Then let me fight for you Mister! I can't leave you again.

 

Reaper: You never left me Cali. That is why I am here right now. You want me to be here. But I am really over there. but only you can lead me out of the darkness.

 

Cali: You long for peace Mister Reaper. And I promise I will give it to you!

 

Cali mounts Stampede. She then rushes towards the town. The town apparently is burning. The Reaper by the cabin dissapears. The scene then shifts back to where the Reaper really is. He pulls out his pistol and fires at the Ghouls one by one. The Reaper is throwing the bottles on fire at the buildings. He laughs as in his vision, he throws flowers to the people. In reality he throws one bottle onto a Ghoul and watches it burn. The Greater Ghouls walk through the fire and the apocalyptic enviorment. The Deputy Ghoul crawls to the Greater Ghouls as he is on fire screaming.

 

Deputy: PLEASE...SAVE ME!!

 

Maxwell sprays his blood onto the Deputy. The Blood serves as acid and kills off the Deputy. The Reaper then laughs until he sees them. He screams furiously at them. Stock shifts the Earth. The Reaper runs away from the rishing boulders that forms. Stock then slides towards the Reaper and uppercuts him. The Reaper is on the air. Silvia grabs him and throws him onto the ground. Xavier slices the Reaper. He loses alot of blood from the claw scratches. Maxwell whacks the Reaper on the back putting him down.

 

Maxwell: Are you really the Reaper? You seriously can't be that weak if so.

 

Reaper: I found you...finally!

 

Maxwell: But you aint gonna defeat us now Reaper. We got you and I am going to avenge my brother....Billy Bob!

 

The Reaper still laughs wildly. The Greater Ghouls look at him with confusion. Maxwell puts his cane into the Reaper's abdomen. When Maxwell pulls it off, the Reaper gets up bleeding.

 

Maxwell: Come on Reaper, lets fight now!

 

Stock punches the ground which creates a sonic boom underground that forces the Reaper to stand up.

Author's Note

This is about to be a big major faceoff between the Reaper and Maxwell. What can you determine from here. Will Maxwell win or will the Reaper win? Or better yet, what will happen to the Reaper's mind?

Note: If you read that Cali's parents were tomahawked by Native Indians before I just edited this Episode, please ignore and forget that. I took out that part.
