Act 1: The Crash

the first act containing two scenes. The beginning of Gersche starts now at a mansion.

In the Apocalyptic World War 2, a groom (Gersche) and a bride (Elizabeth) have their party crashed by Cyborgs. Those cyborgs belonged to a king named Decard who built Cyborgs to destroy humanity. These cyborgs exterminate mankind and wipeout civilization. Gersche gets saved by a ghost named Abraham who is trapped by a watch and has absolute power; however he cannot leave the watch and his power can only be used in every other hour. Gersche carries Abraham's watch to rescue Elizabeth and to take out King Decard.

 

 

Scene 1

Narrator: In 1944, there was a time when different leaders around the world fought each other for world domination.

 

(The scene shows from space: Planet Earth. The camera pans into the atmosphere where England is.)

 

Narrator: Greed, ambition, and violence are their only elements of their goals.

 

(English and German airplanes shooting each other at the sky.  Plenty of them get destroyed.)

 

Narrator: It cost the expenses of ordinary man and woman. Everyone got caught under that world of only evil.

 

(The Airplanes crash into the ground and other buildings. Airplanes explode everywhere. Men get shot at the ground and blown by tanks. The camera zooms out of the battlefield then moves onto an unharmed area.)

 

Narrator: But then there are the very few who survived the war humans and machines started, including me.

 

(The camera zooms into a church. It holds a marriage ritual.)

 

Priest: Elizabeth Cunnings, do you take Alexander Gersche to be his wife?

 

Narrator: I survived through a lot more than mere humans killing each other. Those leaders, Hitler, Mussolini, and Stalin did not matter for that time. They were just ambitious men who managed to gather blind rats with their emotional speeches and put them on suicide missions.

 

Elizabeth: I DO, YES!!

 

Narrator: We had a man who needed no other man but himself and his metal scraps of violence.

 

Priest: Alexander Gersche, do you take Elizabeth Cunnings to be her husband?

 

Narrator: I was also a leader in the world war, except that I did not need a large quantity of warriors to compete in it.

 

Gersche: I do!

 

Priest: Alexander, you may kiss the bride.

 

(They kissed each other. The crowd cheers.)

 

Narrator: I only had a dead man, and three survivors accompany me.

 

(The crowd and the couple start to move into a mansion where they party. Gersche and Elizabeth sit with each other in a table.)

 

Elizabeth: (holding Gersche’s hand) Alexander!

 

Gersche: Yes Elizabeth!

 

Elizabeth: Remember that story that we use to read when we were little kids

 

Gersche: (brushing his beard with his hand) Yes I do.

 

Elizabeth:  It was about Prince Charming. How he would save a damsel in distress after the evil king would imprison the princess.

 

Gersche: Yes I remember that story very well.

 

Elizabeth: I felt like I married Prince Charming

 

Gersche: (smiling) Really?

 

(Another man jumps in the conversation)

 

Gersche: Brother Edward?

 

Edward: (laughing) Yes Alex. Why don’t you come up and dance with your wife. We all have been waiting for you to do so.

 

(Elizabeth blushes and looks at Gersche.)

 

Gersche: Edward…well

 

Elizabeth: well that’s like the seventh time you were hesitant in a dance party. You are always like this!

 

(Gersche gets up with his wife. Suddenly a siren goes off. Everybody hears it. But right when everybody starts to get into the basement, an unknown shadow army comes on the mansion. No one can identify what the army is. They shoot out plasma bullets. They burst the door open instantly. Four cyborgs walk in. One that stands on front is a hooded figure with two bright red eyes holding two tomahawks, another one has four red eyes and twitches the most, he also has blades on his arms, and another one has one big red eye and long wired hair with a whip, and the last one is bigger than the other mutants, he carries a plasma shield and a glowing hammer. The party members show fear and run away. The hooded figure speaks.)

 

Kross: (in a low pitch electronic voice) I am Kross. Chief of the Elite Exterminators from King Decard’s Reign! You will either be killed or assimilated.

 

(The four eyed cyborg starts to speak).

 

Snake: (in a creepy voice) CAN I KILL THEM? CAN I KILL THEM? PLEASE!

 

Kross: (pulling out his tomahawk on front of Snake) Not yet Snake!

 

Snake: (unleashing his wrist blades) WHY NOT CHIEF KROSS? AFTER ALL IT IS AN OPTION THAT KING DECARD TOLD US TO DO!

 

Kross: NOT YET SNAKE!

 

Snake: How about we save one….for assimilation?

 

(The big cyborg speaks.)

 

Boxer: Boxer says that Snake is right! Elite Exterminators and other cyborgs will save one human!

 

Kross: Let’s spare the woman in the white dress. She stands out of all!

 

Snake: THEN…..IT’S A DEAL!!!!

 

Kross: (putting up his hand) CYBORGS!!!!

 

Snake, Boxer and the other cyborgs pull out their weapons.

 

Kross: Take the Woman in White and terminate all others!

 

(Kross then forms a fist in that hand. The people try to hide as the cyborgs enter in the mansion. Guests try to exit out of the window but the cyborgs surround them in all directions. No one can leave. Everybody gets slaughtered. Kross throws his tomahawks at the guests. Boxer charges into the women and children. The cyborgs shoot up the party members. Snake jams his blades in every human he sees. He also dismembers them with laughter.)

 

Snake: YOU HUMANS CAN’T HIDE!

 

(His shoulders form mini machine guns. The blood sprays everywhere as the guns fire.)

 

Snake: I love it when your little useless insect tiny legs….try… to RUN!

 

(Snake grabs a man and cuts him up, leaving lots of blood on Snake’s metal armor.)

 

Snake: All of your faces in fear AMUSE ME….MAKING ME MORE HAPPY (stabbing more people and putting them on his blade) Scream you inferior species….SCREAM!! IT’S NOT FUN WITHOUT YOUR FEAR! (He spits some oil as he speaks.)

 

(Gersche and Elizabeth try to get into a dark basement. As Kross is chopping up humans, he gets a glance at Gerche and Elizabeth. Everybody screams. Elizabeth hugs Gersche for security. Boxer smashes into a closet finding a man and his children. They scream while Boxer bashes them causing gore to splatter inside the closet. Edward finds a shotgun in the family room. He finds bullets in a drawer.  Edward loads it and shoots Kross on his right arm.  Some red blood spurts out along with some electricity.)

 

Edward: RUBBISH FELLOW! GET OUT OF HERE!!

 

(Kross turns to Edward and dodges the next shot Edward shoots and grabs Edward’s skull. His fingers press into Edward’s head as he screams kneeling down.)

 

Edward: YOU BLOODY MONSTER!! GET OFF OF ME YOU MACHINE! AAUUGGHHH!!

 

(Kross then pulls out his skull and spine and crushes it as the blood heavily sprays upon Kross. He walks to the basement door, and breaks the doork with the hatchet. He jumps down the steps and sees Gersche and Elizabeth. Gersche grabs a crowbar and tries to attack Kross. Kross then throws his tomahawk on Gersche’s face. His left eye gets chopped. There is a huge gash on his face. He screams in pain.)

 

Elizabeth: (crying) ALEX!! NNOOOO!!

 

Gersche: RUN ELIZABETH!! RUN!!

 

(Apparently Gersche is still alive. He takes out the Hatchet from his face and tries to kill Kross with it. Kross takes back the hatchet from Gersche’s hand. Kross then pulls out his other tomahawk to chop off Gersche’s right arm. Boxer comes in from above and punches Gersche into a wall. He becomes partially paralyzed. The other elite cyborg whips Gersche four times.)

 

Snake: DREAD! PUT AWAY THAT WHIP AND LET ME KILL HIM

(Then Snake jumps in and stabs Gersche obsessively. Gersche is still breathing holding his bloody stump.)

 

Kross: SNAKE!!!

 

Snake: (ignoring Kross) THIS ONE IS INTERESTING! WHY DOESN’T HE DIE?!

 

Kross: (pulling Snake out of the way) I WILL KILL HIM!

 

Gersche: (puking out blood) El….iz…a….beth… !

 

(Kross then stikes a tomahawk at Gersche’s chest. Gersche screams in agony then falls with his eyes shut.)

 

Kross: ELITES!! I will take the woman in white. Our work is done, head for the next zone then report to King Decard!

 

(Kross grabs Elizabeth with his right hand.)

 

Elizabeth: LET GO OF ME!

 

(Kross punches her in the face with his left hand and she collapses unconsciously. Snake kicks Gersche into a drawer.)

 

Snake: I hope you’ll be alive ...so….. I can kill YOU ….For…REEAAL!!

 

 

 

Scene 2

 

(Gersche lies down on his bloody stomach. As soon as the cyborgs leave, Gersche opens his eyes and a voice comes by.)

 

Abraham: Alexander….Alexander!

 

Gersche: Please…go away!

 

Abraham: Alexander! You need help.

 

Gersche: Well if you have it….(puking blood) then I’d be more than glad to take it.

 

Abraham: Then open that stop watch to your left.

 

Gersche: (hesitating) Why….is it medicine?

 

Abraham: It’s your new life Alexander. Open it and we can work together, and save your wife! Do you really love her?

 

Gersche: Yes I do!

 

Abraham: (hostilely) THEN OPEN IT!! I CANNOT MAINTAIN YOUR LITTLE REMAINING BLOODY LIFE WHEN IM LIKE THIS! YOU SHOULDN’T EVEN BE ALIVE AFTER THOSE BLOODY CYBORGS ASSAULTED YOU!

 

(Gersche opens the stop watch with his left arm. A giant blast of electricity spreads around the basement. The color of the lights turns red. Screams and irritating sounds occur. Small metal scraps come out of the drawer and orbit around Gersche's bloody stump. They collide and form a metal arm that replaces Gersche's lost arm. A red orb replaces his eye. He regains some sight on that eye. The basement finally appears to have computers and machines.)

 

Gersche: Who are you? And what are those?

 

(Inside the watch comes a ghost. He has an undercut haircut. He wears wide glasses that coves his eye and glow white. He has no facial hair and he looks like a 20 year old man. His forehead has a plug out put. The veins around it are exposed and overlap his eyes. He also wears a striped sweater. Both of his hands are covered by his wrapped bandages; leaving his fingers exposed. His smile captures Gersche.)

 

Abraham: I am Abraham! Thank you Alexander! Those are machines that were used to make me the way I am right now. We have a common enemy!

 

(Abraham speaks in a soft robotic emitting voice)

 

Gersche: The Cyborgs?

 

Abraham: Not only that, but that name sounds familiar…Decard! Yes…the Decard I am thinking of lived in this mansion along time ago. Yeeeessss!!! (he smiles with his teeth showing)

 

Gersche: Elizabeth…ELIZABETH!!!! NOOO!!!! SHE WILL NOT BE TAKEN TO BE PART OF THOSE CYBORGS!!!! NNOOOO

 

(He runs into the door that leads out of the basement.)

 

Abraham: (frowning) My….. what is the maximum of your love for Elizabeth……Alexander? You must really love her…even in the closest distance to your death, Yeeesss!

 

(Gersche runs upstairs and sees the dead party guests, he cries and runs out of the mansion. He sees that the town is devastated. There are gunfire and screaming people at the background)

 

Abraham: ALEXANDER YOU LEFT SOMEONE BEHIND!

 

Gersche runs down the stairs.

 

Gersche: CANT YOU GET OUT OF THE BASEMENT ALREADY!!!

 

Abraham: I cannot move my self. The watch is what restricts my distance to any area! There seems to be a specific radius from the watch that I can move around. (his face frowns) BLOODY HELL!!!

 

Gersche: Should I carry the watch…Abraham?

 

Abraham: Yeeesss, you should. After all I am the only one who is keeping you alive. Unleashing that watch freed me. I am no longer a mere ghost of a mansion, but something more…. powerful.

 

(He stares at his hand and it shoots out lighting. He also tries to lift up objects telekinetically; he laughs and has fun with the power.)

 

Abraham: Gersche! Why don’t we work together to save your wife and kill this….King Decard? Yeeesss!!!! HA HA HA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!

 

(Gersche nods his head yes and grabs two swords on the basement.)

 

Abraham: Allow me!

 

(Abraham shocks the two swords and their blades are burning red energy. Gersche takes off his wedding jacket, and puts on a trench coat. He finds two pistols and carries them as well. Gersche puts the watch on his neck wearing it. He runs out of the basement again and walks in the destroyed town.)

 

Gersche: If you don’t mind I’m going to check on the others, see whose left!

 

Abraham: No one is left!

 

Gersche: Well who was that Decard you were mentioning about earlier?

 

Abraham: Let’s just say….he is an ambitious man who can never let go of anything!!! And besides…my mind could be rubbish, or you never said thank you…….Alexander!

 

Gersche: Thank you Abraham! (he frowns at him)

 

Abraham: Yeeeessss….Your welcome (he smiles at him)

 

(Gersche walks into the middle of nowhere. There are fallen airplanes and military debris everywhere. There are cyborg foot prints.)

 

Abraham: Alexander….Do you really know what type of technology exists out there?

 

Gersche: I think I got the idea!

 

Abraham: Yeesss! I hope you do. Because I did not want you to think that these…new “Cyborgs” are the only capacity of the new warfare!

 

Gersche: Well….they seems to act like a group. There is some sort of…. absolute force that controls them!

 

Abraham: Of course Alexander…Yeeeeessss! You read my mind! Just don’t underestimate our enemy.

 

Gersche: I don’t know who this Kind Decard is but I’m going to kill him!

 

Abraham: Alexander…..your job is to save your wife! Yeeeessss! I will kill this King Decard! If he is not the Decard I am thinking of…then you can kill him!

 

Gersche: You know what….How about you take out Decard…whether he is the one or not! I will save my wife! It’s not quite really our business to…

 

Abraham: Oh but it is our business. We will spend some…Quality time with each other. And besides….It’s a deal Alexander….(Abraham looks down) Interesting….The attack came from here! It’s according to the cyborg foot prints. (he turns to his right) Alexander….Look here!

 

(Gersche looks at Abraham’s looking direction. He sees a high heel shoe. Gersche picks the shoe up with his left human hand. The name inside it has Elizabeth’s signature. His cyborg hand rubs the shoe. Gersche smiles and looks back at his walking direction.)

 

Abraham: So ….We aren’t lab rats locked in a maze anymore. We will know where to go!

 

Gersche: (walking to Abraham) Elizabeth is still alive! SHE IS STILL THERE….WE CAN MAKE IT!

 

Abraham: Sure we can…..yeeessss….As long as King Decard does not assimilate her! We will have to rush! There is no time. Seems like we have another world war, just like the first one. Yeeessss! (he smiles).

 

(An armored car comes by. It has gray metal armor. Then seven cyborgs come out with electric sticks and guns. Abraham suddenly becomes transparent.)

 

Abraham: NNNOOOO!!!! Alexander...You seem to be on your own!

 

Cyborg 1: (in a low voice) HALT! WHO ARE YOU? A CYBORG OR HUMAN!

 

Gersche: ABRAHAM!!! WHERE ARE YOU?!

 

Cyborg 2: YOU WERE ASKED A QUESTION! ARE YOU A CYBORG OR HUMAN!

 

Abraham: I can’t blast those cyborgs. BLOODY HELL!

 

Cyborg 3: SPEAK WANDERER!

 

Gersche: (his eyes start to glow) SHUT UP YOU MACHINES!!! YOU MAKE ME SICK!!

 

(Gersche sweats. One cyborg with a stick comes in to attack Gersche. Gersche pulls out his sword and slices its scalp off. Blood and sparks come out of the head.)

 

Cyborg 2: IDENTIFICATION DOES NOT MATTER FOR NOW! KILL THE WANDERER!

 

(Three cyborgs try charging in. Gersche cuts off one of their arms with rage. He stabs another in the face and disembowels another. The cyborg with out the arm tries to grab him with the other arm. Gersche pulls out his pistols and shoots the cyborg’s neck. Blood spurts out along with sparks. The remaining six of the cyborgs pull out their guns and try to fire at Gersche. He shoots the majority of the cyborgs. Gersche runs into the last cyborg and cuts off its legs in a slow motion sequence. It screams and still tries to kill Gersche. Gersche steps on the cyborg’s head. Blood splatters on his foot but the cyborg twitches heavily. He then stabs its spine. It makes a dying robotic noise. Gersche breathes heavily thinking about how did he survive that?)

 

Abraham: Alexander….My what a wonderful warrior you are! Seven non human warriors are annihilated within a minute by your work! Yeeesss!! You didn’t even need my help, except for the fact that I’m maintaining that health of yours….yeeesss! You got a rage inside of you!

 

Gersche: Save the compliments for later Abraham! We gotta go!

I will post the next act if you want me to. There is alot of violence and there will be more later on.

Alright, so I know there are some reader that are unfamiliar with screenplays or never reviewed them. That's okay, just tell me what you think. Besides putting it in a book is better than merging all eight acts plus the final act into one big page. To those who ask "how the war started?" or "what side is Gersche on", read the next act or continue the story if you want to know. I can guarantee that your questions will be answered at the next act, or Act 5. Keep on reading if you want to know ;)

Well it's pretty violent. Elizabeth stands out of wall since she is white according to the cyborgs. I think she represents innocence. Abraham seems to be a big help to Gersche with his power to heal and destroy. What are your views?

I've never reviewed a screenplay. I'm a little bit confused by this, I think you need more of an explanation on how this war started and who is in it. It sounds like it takes place during World War II, but with the addition of cyborgs. What side did the cyborgs belong to? Where did the cyborgs come from? What side was Gersche on? Who or what is Abraham? He doesn't sound like a human.

I'm not knowledgeable on play writings, but this was really easy to follow, you had very clear detail about how peopl should be performing, and exactally what they should be doing.

Other than that... there are a lot of laughing parts where it's "HAHAHAHAHAH" and so on some of the time the "haha's" are misspelled... two 'a''s together. I'm not too sure the caps are neccesary, (you could just put where you're explaining "he threw his head back and wildly laughed")

Same thing with the "YEEESSSSS" and "NNOOOOO".

Hi, I think this is really great, I love it. Please visit my page and read my writings when you can. As I kept reading, the story began to take over my mind. I can't believe how good this is, I'm going to finish reading the rest of the acts. I read it four days ago, but I forgot to add my review. It is so wonderful that you have created these characters, I saw every detail, this is so exciting, I think that it is the number one writing I have read so far. Wow you cover so much, I want to say that if you want to chat more about screenplays especially this one please forward me a message or give me a review. Also I wanted to say how scary it is, I can hear Gersce's heart pumping, and I can smell the yard that him and Abraham arrived to, I can see how powerful Snake is when they wanted to attack those people at the wedding. I can see how innocent Gersche is and how misterious King Decard is and how elite this cyborg society is. I never have seen a play like this nor have I ever read or heard of a book like this. Please let me know what I can do to help you in anyway I can. I feel like I love it so much I don't even want anybody else to read this. Ofcourse I will tell everyone to read this if you want me to.

This is the first screenplay I've ever reviewed and read so go easy on me. As for the format (I know nothing about it) it looks organized enough I can tell the actions from the dialogue and whatnot. I like how you made each cyborg have their own personality- like the maniacal killer, the big guy, the boss, and whatnot. Act 1 was very easy to understand, and I COULD visualize everything in my head. Act 2 was where I got confused, I mean I know where the whole thing was heading off to, and how Gersche survived, and who Abraham is, but the place where they were didn't stand out so clearly. And when you mentioned one of the cyborgs bleeding, was that by blood or just oil or something (sorry I'm not good with mechanical stuff :D) I have to say if this was made into a movie of some sort, it wouldn't be suitable for people who don't like gore (not saying it's bad, it just makes a move more mystical and action packed). Besides adding a bit more detail, the screenplay is fine, I will be continuing this. :)

Nice idea! Okay..no offence but it was confusing. I really didn't understand much. And please don't take it the wrong way but it really didn't keep my attention for too long. Try making it a little more explanatory, add a little more description of the scene and make Gersche or/and Abraham sound a little more natural. The dialogues seem very unreal. Hope that helps! Sorry for being so curt, though.

violence is great, but this seems sort of pale, you know? No offense, but I kinda wanted more visuals. You call them plasma bullets...what do they look like? what do they sound like? what the heck is a plasma shield? what does that cool warhammer look like?
The rebuild of gersche could be expanded on. it sounds cool, but "arm comes out and replaces" seems boring.
How much of a science ratio are you using? when Kross ripped out that guys spine, it seemed impossible if the victim was just kneeling.

all cool, but I get the impression that you are leaving too much up to the imagination.
