Episode 12: Urban Legend Part 2

This is the real end. How will Nathan accomplish what he needs? Find out by this conclusion.

Nathan and Victor clash their blades against each other. Nathan dodges Victor's strikes. Victor's clone puts the mother down and teleports to Nathan. Nathan slices the clone's head off and continues to attack Victor. Victor jumps on top of Nathan and kicks him down. A clone spawns from Victor's body. It picks up Nathan and holds Nathan's arms back. The clone faces Nathan to Victor. Victor pulls out his swords pointing to Nathan.

Victor: DIE BROTHER!

Krotus burns the clone that holds Nathan back. Nathan breaks free and clashes his blades against Victor. Victor jumps onto one car and jumps over Nathan. Nathan pulls out Krotus and swings him around with the wire. The wire is stretched out to many feet. Fire accumulates around the cars and the surface of the bridge. Tera then charges to Rasku with her staff and daggers. She throws several of them at Rasku. Rasku spits his fire at Tera. Tera dodges them and runs up the cables. She is getting close to the tower of the bridge. Rasku flies up onto the tower first. When Tera reaches it she pulls out her staff and jumps on Rasku's head. Rasku shakes his head around. Tera still tries to maintain her balance. She falls onto another Cable. She clutches onto it to prevent her from falling down.

Rasku: YOU WERE NEVER MY SISTER!

Rasku sprays fire onto the cables. Tera jumps on the main cable and walks on it. She throws daggers as she runs fast. Rasku endures the daggers that hit him. In the meanwhile, Victor and Nathan are still against each other. The mother still tries to take the ink off of her mouth. Victor sends another clone to attack Nathan. Nathan struggles against the clone with his sword. Victor rushes towards Nathan and grabs him from the back. He smashes Nathan onto a car multiple times. Nathan breaks free and slices Victor in half vertically. The black ink splatters from both sides but sinks into the ground along with both sides of the body. It then crawls under Nathan's legs and clutches onto them. Nathan pulls out Krotus and burns the ink underneath him. The fire does not affect the blob of ink. Nathan slices the clone that is about to attack him and burns the surface around him. Krotus's fire burns the cars around him and creates a hole. The hold forms underneath Nathan. The large black ocean can be seen from below. The ink loses grip of Nathan and grabs under the deck. Victor then crawls underneath the deck. Krotus grabs underneath the deck as well and reels Nathan up. Nathan holds the surface above and crawls. 

Nathan: Is this how you wanted our family to reunite!

Victor chases Nathan down at fast speed upside down. Nathan crawls away upside down. Victor pulls out one sword from one of his arms and swings it as Nathan dodges it. He drops his legs and lets his arms hang under neath the deck. He evades to the left and right. Nathan pulls out his sword and competes with Victor's blade. When Nathan stabs Victor's shoulder, he liquefies and mounts himself underneath the deck. As the ink drips, a clone forms and crawls with out with out a blade. Victor emerges out and crawls beneath the bridge. 

Victor: RASKU, MOTHER, AND I SHALL BE THE ONLY ONES LEFT IN THE UNIVERSE! YOU AND YOUR ANGEL SHALL DIE BEFORE WE REACH HEAVEN.

Nathan begins to find a way back to the top of the bridge. He puts his feet back up and crawls away from Victor. The clone and Victor chase him. The clone advances towards Nathan but Nathan kicks it off. Victor accelerates and attempts to grab Nathan. Nathan kicks the hand and still continues to crawl. He finds the edge of the bridge, pulls himself up and jumps onto the surface. Victor's ink creeps onto the top and begins to reform. Victor swings his blades around creating a barrier. The clone runs behind Victor and tries to interect with Nathan. Nathan slices it in half and rushes to Victor. He clashes his blades against Victor's. The cars and ground get sliced. Tera and Rasku still fight each other. Rasku's wings try to blow away Tera but she clutches onto the tower of the bridge. Nathan runs through the main cable and pulls out Krotus. 

Rasku: DIE!

Krotus spits out a big fire ball that hits Rasku's face at light speed. Rasku loses focus. Tera throws many daggers, sprints at light speed and stabs Rasku's chest with the staff. Rasku screams loudly. His screams shatter the tower. 

Tera: STOP THIS NOW!! 

Rasku falls down with his dragon form disintegrating. His wings scatter away as his regular form begins to appear. The scales and body fragments disappear. Rasku falls down into the surface. Rasku's screaming start to sound more like man rather than demon. He gets up with his hat, jacket, and mask. His red eye glows brighter. Rasku pulls out his scythe as Tera runs down to him. Nathan and Victor stare at Rasku's rage. 

Rasku: WHY...WHY MUST YOU STOP MY ETERNAL DREAM? WHY DO YOU STILL VALUE THE HEAVENS AFTER WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO ME? 

Rasku teleports towards the mother and grabs her. He holds her by the neck and throws her down. 

Victor: MOTHER!!!

Victor snaps his fingers which cause the ink on the mother's mouth to attack Rasku. Rasku shoots red and dark matter at the ink which causes it to disintegrate. 

Mother: VICTOR!!

Nathan: RASKU!!! DON'T

Rasku pulls out his scythe and aims it at the mother. Victor dashes to Rasku with his clone. Rasku slices both of them in half. Nathan throws Krotus at Rasku but Rasku deflects him away. Tera comes in with her daggers and throws them at him. Rasku deflects the daggers as well causing Tera to evade her own daggers. Rasku then slices the mother's back with the scythe. He then stabs her mother in the chest with the blade. He throws the mother away to Nathan. Victor reforms and runs to the mother. Nathan kneels down crying along with Victor. Tera stares at the mother as Rasku cuts up the cars in his rage. The mother is dripping blood from her mouth as Nathan holds the mother's hand. Victor holds the mother's other hand and her chest. Victor sends his ink into the chest.

Victor: STAY ALIVE MOTHER!!! DON'T GO!

Nathan: Don't die on us!

Mother:...let....me....see....your....faces..!

Nathan takes off his mask and Victor takes off his as well. Nathan's tears can be seen dripping. Victor's torn face stares at the mother. 

Mother: Victor...you still are beautiful! But you Nathan...I am sorry.....for not giving you the love you deserve!

Nathan: Mother....please!

The mother stops breathing. Her dead face is smiling. Victor screams grieving for his mother. Nathan sobs on the mother's stomach. The blood gets on Nathan's face as Victor's sadness cannot stop. Tera feels the pain as she stares at the death.  Rasku stops shredding the cars with his scythe and teleports to them. He cuts Victor's right arm off which now bleeds red. Rasku cuts Victor's torso off as well. The bowels spill onto the road. Nathan puts his mask back on and evades Rasku's next strike. 

Rasku: YOU DON'T NEED A GOD DAMN FAMILY LITTLE NATHAN! WHY DO YOU CRY FOR IT? 

Rasku slices the cars around him. Nathan charges up to Rasku and attempts to slice Rasku. They clash their blades against each other. Nathan jumps on one car and leaps onto Rasku. But Rasku's scythe swings at Nathan causing Nathan to block it with his katana. The force pushes Nathan back. Flaming skulls form around Rasku which charge at Nathan. He dodges the skulls as dark energy orbits around Rasku 

Rasku: You should quit Nathan, your life will lead to no where after this!

Nathan pulls out Krotus and swings him around with the fire spreading. Rasku swings his scythe hitting Krotus away. Rasku's speed and reflexes prevent Krotus from hitting Rasku.

Rasku: You are still a pathetic mortal little Nathan, you should have died at that time! Using you was a big mistake!

Nathan: DAMN RIGHT IT WAS FOR YOU! 

Rasku sinks into the portal beneath him.

Nathan: Krotus, how does that story end again? 

Rasku rises from a portal behind Nathan. Rasku has his scythe out ready to cut Nathan. Nathan launches Krotus into Rasku's neck. The neck begins to spray blood. Krotus's skull gets painted by the splattering blood. Rasku pulls Krotus out gagging. The blood sprays furiously afterwards. Rasku holds his bleeding neck with his hands. Rasku crawls away from Nathan. Nathan stabs Rasku from his back to his front. The katana sticks through Rasku's chest. Tera arrives towards Nathan. Rasku's bleeding chest and neck are clearly visible. Nathan pulls out the bloody katana. Rasku lies down on his back. He slowly disintegrates into ashes. The ashes fly away from of the bridge. Tera holds Nathan from behind. Nathan takes off his mask facing Tera. They hug each other tightly. Nathan's tearing eyes see Victor's dead body. 

Tera: It's okay Nathan.

Nathan: (crying) NO...IT'S NOT OKAY!!!

Tera: It isn't your fault!

Nathan: I failed to help my brother! I FAILED TO SAVE MY MOTHER, AND I FAILED TO HELP MY FATHER AS WELL! 

Tera: Nathan......don't do this to yourself.

Nathan clutches onto Tera tightly. They both kneel down with each other.

Tera: It's okay Nathan....it's okay!

Several angels and Father Argus drop down from the skies and land on the bridge. The angels come out with weapons. They have swords and shields. Some have spears and bows and arrows.

Argus: YOU...YOU...HOW COULD YOU KILL MY SON?

Tera: LEAVE HIM ALONE FATHER! 

Argus: Nathan, you shall pay the price!

Nathan puts on his mask and stares at Argus.

Argus: You will be sent to the underworld after my strike. I shall chain you into the depths of hell. Since you killed my son, you shall not have any mobility in this world. 

Nathan sprints at light speed dismembering several angels. Nathan slices one of the angel's wings off and stabs it. The arrows are shot but Krotus burns all of them. Nathan cuts the remaining angels in half. He sees the last one without an arm and has Krotus burn it alive. Argus still stands. Argus pulls out a giant sword pointing to Nathan but Tera runs to Argus blocking him.

Tera: FATHER...DON'T DO THIS!

Argus: Very well....he shall live alone in the mortal world. We may as well call this world hell as well.

Argus grabs Tera and ascends away at light speed. Nathan stares at the sky. 

Nathan: TERA!!!! TERA!!! 

Nathan throws Krotus at the sky.

Krotus: IT'S USELESS NATE, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH THEM FROM HERE!!

Nathan slams his fists onto the ground. He gets up as sits down with Victor's upper half body and with his mother. He cries looking at them with his mask on. He is left alone at the bridge with bloody corpses. 

10 years later

The weather is snowing. Nathan is an adult. He still has his mask on. Nathan's hair is longer and it passes his shoulders. His hair is uncombed. He wakes up from a shed. The ruins and scraps are underneath the snow. He walks through several homeless people. They all look at him with fear. Many of them make room for him. A young woman comes in with her hood on. The young woman stares at Nathan. An old man sits right near her.

Old man: Who are you young girl?

Young woman: I am looking for Nathan.

Old man: What? His nature isn't for any one like you. I hope you know that. 

 

Young woman: Yes it is!

The young woman walks away. She walks through the sheds. She finds Nathan wandering alone past the area. He walks into the woods. The young woman walks towards Nathan and calls his name.

Young woman: Nathan...Nathan!

Nathan does not respond. Instead he opens a container that has a demon that has its limbs lost. The face is half torn. Nathan grabs the chain that is hooked on to it and yanks it out. Nathan steps onto the scalp causing the brains to splatter. The young woman reaches Nathan but he pulls out his katana. His cracked mask stares at the young woman.

Nathan: Step away! You don't belong here!

Krotus: Nate...just put the sword down. This one here has come a long way for you!

Nathan: Shut up!

Krotus: How unfortunate of him. He would always look up at the sky everyday for one angel. He visits his family every time. But the only thing that keeps him alive is food scraps, alcohol, and that angel. I don't know if he is approachable at this time. 

The young woman uncovers her self. She reveals to be Tera. She only appears to be human. Nathan drops his katana and takes off his mask. His unshaved chin is revealed. Nathan walks to Tera with tears and happiness. Tera comes up to him and hugs him tightly. 

Nathan: (crying) Tera....what are you doing here?

Tera: It's alright Nathan. I am no longer an angel. I shall live as a mortal like you.

Nathan: How...? How will you bare the life of a human? You don't know what it's like to live as one.

Tera lets go of Nathan and holds his hand

Tera: (smiling) You showed me Nathan. 

Tera and Nathan walk through the woods holding hands. Their footsteps can be seen. They walk away from the scene as the wind blows.

For me it was one of the fastest stories have ever read. The characters are strong and believeable. The story was fast paced filled with action and emotion. I would spend the time in the details and making it less chopy to read. There really wasn't anything I didn'tl like mabe except the ending I felt it needed more build up.

I haveposted four more chapters, but really wish you would read my series and my life story so I can see how you compare the two. You can count on me reading more of your work new or old. I will read anything you put before me.
