Time Instead of Loneliness

Time Instead of Loneliness

A Poem by Katarzyna Anna Koziorowska

Thousands of wasted stars.

Billions of badly spoken words.

Will I look for the tear

that will make my future pass?

Hidden behind a curtain of eyelids,

I want to feel your painful touch

on my conscience.

Will you be the man who

will bring me time instead of loneliness?

You knock on

my slightly ajar door again,

bring me a blue pitcher

of freshly harvested dreams.
