A Spider's Web

A Spider's Web

A Poem by Katarzyna Anna Koziorowska

My love has lost to your pain.

Time scarred before your hope

was caught on fire.

The torn skin is warm and soft,

it reminds me of a childhood dream.

Don't make me learn

a human language.

I do not understand all dreams

come true. A few sour tears

are enough to complete

the missing pieces in this insane puzzle.

Fall asleep just for a moment

so that you can see how much

I need your dreams, your embodied words.

Kiss me in the middle

of my heart, hug me tenderly,

withered desires.

Will the times come back

when everyone could touch love?

Will we free ourselves from this cage,

woven from a spider's web?

to me, it seems like you are caught up in a spider web dream, of which you can't or won't escape. your lost love is pieces of a puzzle perhaps that cannot be put back together. Yet you yearn for passion and comfort...will love ever be touchable again? escape from this spider's web?
Well written, and poignant.
Best, B
