With the Same Rhythm

I am dying in the shadow

of your words.

Intoxicated with the emerald

abysses of your eyesight,

I fade away without

an introduction or an end.

 

I know you are not part

of my loneliness.

You will never be a part of love

without complaint,

love without unnecessary thoughts.

 

I am chasing your gilded

dream where the world

belongs to me as well.

I don't want to give you my stars

because I know you don't

need them.

 

The light of your shadow

illuminates the twilight

of my childhood.

Don't let my madness be

the only reason to smile.

 

Even though you are far away,

my heart beats

with the same rhythm.

Beating with the same rhythm...is such a lovely thought..When I read your poems i find myself going back to read and reread your words as each time I do I find new meanings.
I love your use of thoughts and the words that you use to bring to life those thoughts.
Just now I went back to reread several of your words... "not a part of my loneliness..chasing your gilded dreams"...are food for thought...your first line sucked me in immediately... "I am dying in the shadow of your words"...this definitely set the tone for the rest of your poem..
