The Green Sun

The Green Sun

A Poem by Katarzyna Anna Koziorowska

I am in love

with my own thoughts.

I love my dreams, dedicated to

me by your silvery melancholy.

My light is slowly fading out,

thorny shadows overwhelm

my fear.

Your tears are painfully

distant, without the right

to be happy.

Finally, abandon my memories,

renounce tired words.

Don't try to love me, color

my black and white life.

The green Sun greedily

absorbs the needles of the stars.
