I Am Afraid of WordsA Poem by Katarzyna Anna KoziorowskaI am afraid of words that cannot describe your dying love. Black blood flows in my porcelain veins. Let's not run away from the past. The time will come when eternity will be reborn in us. The wound in my heart is teasing me, where your forced kiss was born. I tried to cheat the silence, but the wave washed a scarlet soul ashore. Don't talk to my thoughts, don't try to resurrect the shadow that has been scattered by someone's light. Before shooting stars give way to confused senses, before you take your last breath, your sky will drown in a cage of hope. I look outside the wall, but I know no one is watching.
