A Piece of Sincere Smile

A Piece of Sincere Smile

A Poem by Katarzyna Anna Koziorowska

Our thoughts run
against the tide,
words will always remain dead.
Separated from light
by a black glass,
hidden from a shaky conscience,
I am looking for a substitute
for pain, a piece of sincere smile,
impeccable breath.

I love your black and white tears,
cherish the scarlet twilight flower,
run like a time
that is never late for work.
Take my fear
in your crystal lips,
hide in the dream
my final indifference that will never
catch up with heaven.
