I Learned to Breathe SlowlyA Poem by Katarzyna Anna KoziorowskaI choked on one morning, the first one this year. Life, devoid of reality, bypasses our world, bypassing our empty tears. The dream I found yesterday while walking is too intrusive, too naive. After the last sad ray of the moon within me passed, I learned to breathe slowly, without rushing. The last blue candle has gone out, the last look of trust has passed. This is exactly how I imagined the end of the world. Fate is too lost to bring us even a little refreshment. The white bird of your heart flew away to more interesting memories. The deceived shadow is still your most faithful guardian angel.
