Between Mad StarsA Poem by Katarzyna Anna KoziorowskaI found you among the splinters of light. I sniffed your emerald heart between mad stars. I lent you my newest dream. I dedicate to you words that try to break into a hollow heart. Since pain has become my only consolation, my body has been wandering reluctantly on the sidewalk of dead remorse. The soul, stripped of the remnants of tears, expects to believe in emptiness. I will never trust the fear that brought me here without permission. Before you teach me how to cry properly, I don't want to live in this empty world.
