Broken Tears

Broken Tears

A Poem by Katarzyna Anna Koziorowska

You try to glue broken tears together,
but time is failing you.
You are trying to find this fog
that will cover your sleeping dreams
with its body.

A night is blooming over our heads,
nobody expects it.
You go out, you pass,
although the ballad is not over yet.

The light trapped in your hands
gives no sign of life.
The left thought hurts me,
probably due to an excess of
unnecessary smile.

Don't pretend that silence is a prophet
that someone will win the game
someday.
Look into the eyes of the lie,
see the breath of truth in them.

Run, although time still does not
understand your dreams.
The Moon is trying to steal your way.

Run away though pain is your
unfulfilled wish.
Today we can dance
and watch the last second end.
