We All Need a New FaithA Poem by Katarzyna Anna KoziorowskaThe wound that the light has left for me is trying to heal, but I won't let it. The kiss, given by your green lips, leaves a mark inside me, on my heart that wants to forget again where to go. A fierce wind turns in me, carrying sadness and a desire to wake up again. Don't tell me fairy tales, don't tell stories your breath covered, hidden in my delusions. I am dying in spite of the belief that the next blow will be yours. I was speechless with love, I doubted loneliness that takes refuge in my madness, in my too narrow heart, in my licentious death. Come back, feed my innocence with the tears of those who no longer seek God. Help me die, I can no longer live a wonderful lie. My sensitivity is balancing on the edge of the bloody sky, looking for words that would soothe the wounds inflicted on me by my senses. We all need a new faith, a new God who will finally shine a light in this dark tunnel. We need suffering so that our tears feed the lost. I have one cold dream left, long out of date.
