My Childhood MemoriesA Poem by Katarzyna Anna KoziorowskaMy thoughts are bleeding obediently. I have a passion that cannot be lost. I am pained by the fear that one day I will forget your breath, as green as young hope. Do not pretend that your body is not obeying you. The light in the emeralds of your eyes intimidates my prayer. Since the world stopped playing with its own silence, I was reborn in your soothing arms. I am dying poisoned by your past. My eternity is ending, my childhood memories are ending. Stop feeding me with acid tears, let's wait for them to mature. Do not worry about providence, go away obediently, find the source of empty unbelief. Your body hurts you politely, your soul deprives me of the sight of life, of paradise, of God. Go away by closing the door to heaven. Pick up the boulder of clouds that bloomed in your dreams. Your innocence awoke in an underestimated era. Colorless is the epitaph that adorns your conscience. I wish I could die on your breath, but God had a different plan. I look after the wound that I had left after I woke up yesterday. It is not worth singing when the world is deaf. It is not worth believing, because no one knows the name of God.
