I'm Looking for LightA Poem by Katarzyna Anna KoziorowskaSave me from hope. Hide me from the thorny words that are born in the silence of the lost rocks. I lie down in solitude to which no gate or door leads. My yearning is a white bird that is afraid of the sky. Since the pain flows with the flow of snow-white melancholy, my soul has finally shed the weight of the unnecessary body. Beloved, before you die in my dream, before the antiquated night becomes an emerald morning, let your heart sing me a ballad that will invite me to an unknown world. You are there, you smile, you cry, you love, you fall asleep... But you won't resurrect the day when nostalgia stole you from reality. Let me be resurrected for you just once. Since greedy solitude becomes salvation, we will be afraid of love. Promise this one time that there is no need to be afraid of unknown hearts. Hidden in the fifth corner, I'm looking for light, I'm looking for tears.
