My Dead Tear BloomsA Poem by Katarzyna Anna KoziorowskaI am leaving with this year's future. I hover above the gardens of paradise, I am high, higher and higher. I stole one more dream from you, while you lay locked in your own body, your soul trapped. Don't avoid my love, this is the only hope I can give to my life. Don't pretend you care about the echo of my whisper. Don't pretend pain is the only lullaby that will wake us up. I am drifting, my body no longer resembles the beauty with which I was able to greet you, dressed in venerable trust. My dead tear blooms in your hands, I am asking you for one fulfilled desire. Close your eyes, part your lips, let fear overtake us, let us long for what we cannot regain. A bloody tear runs down my starched conscience. The silent pain is like a night that has been robbed of the stars.
