It's Lonely in my BubbleA Poem by KovarianJust a simple poem of how I feel most of the time. It's lonely in my bubble. The weight of empty, crushing, Still waters lay quiet, No ripples, no beauty, nothing. People often pass me, and they always look straight in, I begin to smile and wave, No reply, no attempt, nothing. Years now of waiting Patiently for something, Day in and day out, No sign, no signal, nothing. Desperately peering out, The bubble's sides I'm touching, Screaming 'someone help me', No notice, no bother, nothing. The days are growing cold, My eyes are slowly shutting, Tiredness possesses me, No strength, no courage, nothing. The sun it rises, the same, It's time to attempt this again, I struggle to get to my feet, No change, no difference, nothing. It's lonely in my bubble.
