The Tattoo On My Back

The Tattoo On My Back

A Poem by Courtney Rose
"

get tested, you never know <3 for all the ladies

"

The tattoo on my back
is strength

The tattoo on my back
is for awareness

The tattoo on my back
is for my Aunt and my Mom
the strongest women I know
they are survivors

The tattoo on my back
is the breast cancer ribbon

The tattoo on my back
is a reminder
it could happen to anyone

The tattoo on my back

is more than ink
it’s a sign of hope

1 out of every 8 woman in the United States will develop it in their lives. The ribbon is a symbol of awareness and to remember those who've died. Your tattoo is appropriate. Bravo.
