Dreams...

They’re not always pleasant

They make you live your worse fears

until you wake up in a cold sweat

Dreams have ways to get to you
make you terrified of sleep
almost as if you close your eyes,
you’ll never escape

One day I’m afraid I’ll be dreaming with my eyes open
