Chapter 4 Sisters revenge

Boy's sister was sitting on her throne in thought.

“My brother disappears and he leaves me to rule this dump?”She thought.

Actually the dump was a castle. A enormous white castle. She should have been content.

“Well while he disappears I have to rule a castle with cranky peasants!”

Well Boy's sister had been looking for him for days. And without much success. She decided to higher a tracker. And the only one she had was a black dragon. She told him to find Boy, and if he could Vesper too. The black dragons name was Black-wing. He wasn't a nice looking dragon like Vesper was. He was entirely black and had brown eyes that blazed with evil experience. He also was huge. And ugly. He gladly took the job. He hid off in the forest hoping his prey would come eventually. He knew it would be there soon. He wasn't afraid of Boy's sister but he didn't want to die either, so he waited. It was a few hours later when I returned with a bundle of stuff. (More like an arm load.) I started setting up everything, I didn't notice Vesper peeking to see what I was doing. There was a table a chair, a cake, a cooking spoon, a large plate and a noise maker. Vesper giggled to herself, she hid back in her spot and pretended to be asleep. After I was done setting up I took the noise maker, walked up to the “deceivingly sleeping” Vesper and blew through it. The noise startled Vesper because she jumped at the sound of it and looked a little spooked. But I started signing in her language which was dragon.

“Ecome notcif nacita,” “Ecome notic nacita,” “Ecome nacicif nacita Vesper, ecome notif nacita.”

I clapped my hands as Vesper blew out the candles with one big huff.

“Make a wish.” I said. Vesper looked puzzled.

“Its a tradition people are supposed to make a wish after they blow out the candles.” I said. Vesper nodded.

“I see,” She said.

“Thank-you Boy for the party.” I shrugged.

“I wanted to surprise you but you looked like you were expecting it.”

I said. Vesper sighed.

“You know it was a good party.” Vesper smiled.

“Its hard to tell your expression especially when your a dragon.” I said. Vesper shot a funny look at me, I couldn't help but smile. Then she gave me a small lick, with a small blue tongue on the cheek. I couldn't help but I hugged her in return.

“She just licked me!” I thought.

I was savoring the lick when Vesper stared at me.

“Thank you.” Vesper whispered.

“I don't know where I would be without you.” I said.

“Lost probably.” Vesper said. I would never forget that lick, it was like being kissed by a girl! All of the sudden Vesper jumped on me and we rolled down the hill tussling. I pushed her off me and jumped on her. Vesper was giggling like nuts.

“Okay, okay, you got me.” Vesper laughed.

I stood and sighed.

“Well that was fun.” I said.

Vesper wrapped her tail around me.

“What could I have done without you?” She asked.

“Die?” I replied.

“I'm glad you came along Boy.” Vesper said.

“So am I.” I smiled.

It was a few days later after Vesper's birthday a man came by grumbling to himself.

“Excuse me?,” I asked the man.

The man turned to me. He must have been in his fifties.

“What news of the town?”

“You haven't heard?” The man asked.

“No” I replied.

“There's a wizard in town who says he can turn people into animals or animals into people.” The man replied.

I thanked the man and he started walking away. I didn't know it but Vesper had been listening intently to what the man had said. She wrote me a claw note and ran after the man.

“Excuse me!” She called after the man.

The man spun around surprised to see a dragon calling after him.

“Can you do me a favor?” Vesper asked the man.

“Sure.” The man said.

“Take me to this wizard” Vesper said.

Vesper followed the man till they came to a clearing in the forest, and then they stopped at the top of a hill.

“Why are we stopping?” Vesper asked the man.

“I need to rest, you know how hard it is to get up this hill.” the man replied. Vesper sighed, and looked around for a moment, then she looked at the man, but to her surprise right in front of her was a young man.

“I am the wizard.” The man grinned. Vesper looked curious and suspicious.

“Why didn't you just reveal yourself?” she asked him.

“Testing you and playing around.” The man said.

“So can you turn me into a young girl?” Vesper asked the wizard.

“Sure I do it for free.” The wizard said gleefully.

I didn't know Vesper was gone till it got really quiet I looked for Vesper but instead I found her claw-note. I had to turn it different ways to read it. (Its very hard to read a claw-note.) Once I understood what it said, I decided to wait and find out when Vesper would come back. It was two days later. (No, it was almost three!) When I just was about to tend to dinner when I heard a voice, it sounded disappointed. I looked out of the cave to see a young girl probably in her late teens. It wasn't her form that struck me it was her sky-blue eyes and her purple dress that got my attention.

“Can I have a place to stay?” The girl asked softly.

As if lifted out of a trance I nodded and side-stepped to let her in. But I still kept a small eye on her, it was too hard to take my eyes off her. She seemed to notice that I was watching her.

“I have no money if that's what your wanting, I have been rejected a-lot because how poor I am the only thing I have is this dress and this ring.” She said.

She showed me the ring that was on her finger. It matched her eyes and I seemed to have an urge to take it but I stopped myself.

“Well,” I said.

“The hay is in that spot there.” I said pointing diagonally away from her.

“And dinner is in an hour,” I said.

I turned the the entrance of the cave with a worried expression on my face.

“Where is she?” I wondered.

A hand touched my shoulder. I looked over my shoulder to see the girl smile softly in a reassuring way. She gave my shoulder a squeeze before going to the hay to sleep. The next morning I was agitated and worried. Vesper hadn't shown up for three whole days. I made a decision I would find her. I grabbed my spear and ran down a rocky hill. (I remembered to write a claw-note just in case Vesper did come back so that she would know where I was.) And slid down a slope and ran through the forest searching. I thought I saw something move and threw my spear by instinct.

“Ouch!” A voice yelped.

I rushed through the branches to see a red dragon with orange eyes struggling under my spear. Man was he big, a lot bigger than Vesper. Probably as big as a certain tree I haven't looked up yet. I gently took the spear out of its wing while apologizing to it. I took out some thread and started sewing his wing back together.

“I'm Boy.” I said trying to get the creatures attention. The dragon nodded.

“Red tongue,” He replied.

“Watch it, you nearly pricked a vein!” Red growled keeping a close eye on me. I jumped off him and just waited to see what he would do.

“A thousand thank-yous.” Red smiled.

I only nodded.

“Have you seen a purple dragon with sky-blue eyes pass by?” I asked the Red dragon.

Red nodded.

“Not to long ago saw it flying over-head yesterday.” Red replied.

I thanked him and wondered through the jungle.

“Don't get lost Boy!” Red called after me.

I only waved a goodbye to the gentle giant.

Then I saw a black dragon with dark clouded brown eyes watching me. He was ugly too. The ugliest dragon anyone could ever see. The reason why he was ugly was because one side of his face was deformed. He wasn't as big as Red, but he definitely got close. I wondered if he knew where Vesper was.

“Why do you want to know?” The dragon asked me after I asked him.

But then he smiled.

“I know who you speak of, she used to be engaged to me if it wasn't for that pauper of a Boy!” The black dragon snarled.

“Did you know that Vesper is the queen of the evening star?” The black dragon asked me.

I only shook my head.

“Oh yes I know, if she hadn't ran into that peasant of a Boy!,” The black dragon snorted.

“I would have had a happy life!”

I realized that this dragon wasn't going to be of much help so, I left it just standing there. I didn't know that Vesper was following me. Vesper got some interesting amount of information from the gentle Red tongue, but not from the black dragon, whom she called Black-wing. Black just spoke of the good times he had with Vesper, but Vesper just walked away she knew Black-wing was up to no good. Mean while back at the castle sister was waiting for Black's return.

“Hurry up!” She shouted impatiently.

Black-wing appeared in the throne room, Sister smiled evilly.

“What do you have for me?” She asked the black dragon.

The dragon bowed and then spoke.

“I have good news for my queen's ear's, I have seen the dragon your brother has been with.” Black said.

Sister's eye's widened.

“Where?,” She asked excitedly.

“Where?”

“She is in the forest looking for your brother, fat chance she'll find him though.” Black said calmly.

“What do you want me to do Black?” Sister asked

“I want Vesper to mate with me, if she says yes she can be free, if she rejects, you decide.” Black smiled.

Sister smiled back.

“I know what I'll do,” Sister smiled so wickedly that the flowers died.

“I'll bring her back here and lure Boy here too!” She laughed at the idea. “Torture too.” Black raised a talon in suggestion.

“Brilliant!” Sister cackled.

And no-one knew except Black and Sister knew what the plan was and when it was going to be played out. It was night Vesper was still following me through the forest. I hid behind a tree. The black dragon appeared out of no-where.

“Hello my dear,” Black said cruelly. “Out for a walk in the moonlight?”

Its dangerous out at night you know and there are wolves everywhere.”Black said. “I can handle wolves,” Vesper growled.

“You can just go and disappear again Black-wing.”

“So that's what his name was.” I thought. But I still observed what was going on. All of the sudden my sister appeared.

“She say yes yet Black?” She asked.

Black shook his head. “Take her.” He said.

There was a sound of something flying and the female dragon collapsed and then they dragged her away inside a net. My sister was cackling evilly as they left. I had to refresh my belief of bad dragons.
