Chapter 8: Malice

The next danger of Sun city that Johnny had to deal with was the brother of Darkness, supposedly who's name was Malice. Malice they say, was somehow more dangerous than Darkness. Johnny found Malice on the road to Sun city. With Malice was an armored knight.

“If it isn't Warrior, the talk of Sun city,” said Malice.

Johnny wasn't surprised that Malice would be so cross.

“Sunset remove this vermin from my sight,” said Malice side stepping to let the strong knight step up. Johnny remembered that Sunset was Sunny's older brother. He had to be careful when fighting, he didn't want to kill him. Johnny ducked and evaded.

“Johnny, did you notice the triangle?” Asked Warrior.

Johnny blinked. Then he saw it,. In the right eye of Sunset was a green triangle, it was supposed to be like an enchantment for control.

“How do I break that?” Asked Johnny.

“I'll show you,” said Warrior gently pushing Johnny aside. He spun Johnny till he faced Malice.

“Death to the malice inside!” Shouted Warrior.

He stabbed him right through before Sunset knocked him over . Sunset was about to finish him right then and there, if Johnny hadn't moved. The warrior had frozen all of the sudden. The triangle in his eye flickered then vanished. Johnny helped the warrior steady himself.

“A bit too much ale yes?” He asked.

“Indeed,” Johnny replied helping him home.

When Sunny saw johnny with Sunset she ran out and hugged her brother.

“Well if it isn't my younger sister.” Said Sunset smiling.

Johnny nodded to sunny then walked away. Sunny never noticed he was gone till the last second.

“So why have you been helping me Warrior?” asked Johnny.

“I realized in that corner of mine, that we both cannot survive without each other,” said Warrior.

“I'm very thankful you helped,” said Johnny.

“It's better to help, than to sit and pout till you have no fight left in you,” said Warrior. Johnny smiled.

“I'm happy, to be your friend Warrior,” Said Johnny.

“I'm happy to help,” Said Warrior.
