Dromonde

Dromonde

A Poem by Catala

I have seen the future,
It lives in a hot stuffy room,
With air thickened by anticipation.

People sit quietly waiting for their destiny,
Read in lines and pictographs,
Fleshy canvas and three by five cards.

A crystal sphere that neither flashes,
Nor glows with smokey hue,
But lies in boring crystal clear visibility.

Words murmured in confidence,
Assistance and advice given
And always affirmation from beyond.

When you leave the future,
You enter into your reality,
And it is a cold, windy, lonesome life.

I have seen the future,
In the back of a hot stuffy room,
And sometimes I wish that sight was not mine.
