Stress of the Young Koreans

Don't be stressed
Just get some good sleep
Rip-offs at vacation spots, stress
Drunk friends being idiots, stress
Seeing way too many people
shiver in water, that's vacation stress

Waiting for girlfriend's bathroom break, stress
Waiting while holding her bag
She asks what I want to eat, I can't answer
She says I'm indecisive and it's true, stress

Same work, different wages, stress
Boss in his seat past work hours, tells me to go home, stress

Spending my hot Fridays at company dinners,

being hungover on Saturdays.

Sundays mean back to work next day, ugh stress!

I study but my grades don't go up, stress
I date but I feel smaller each day, stress
I'm pissed off, but can't quit, stress

Don't be stressed
Just get some good sleep
This is all because of you, you, you

I order pizza, but no coupons 
I order chicken, but no coke

I ordered jjajangmyun but there’s no pickled radish

And this isn't the first time it happened, stress

Girlfriend who likes revealing clothes, stress

She goes clubbing on the weekends and I can’t get a hold of her, stress. 

All of her contacts are oppas that she knows. 

But she’s still so pretty that I can’t end it, stress

Parents nagging about marriage, stress

But my parents don’t get along and that’s the real stress

Dear father says a man should earn for his family

But my house is stressed because my mom’s the only one who works

So why is mom the only one working, stress

Hot new restaurants that taste worse than fast foods, stress
Girlfriend who keeps borrowing money, stress 

Upside down, upside down! Turn that frown upside down!
No need to get upset about the impossible
What's the use of getting pissed off?

Everyone is in stress..But we can't just be in stress and feel even more sad , we won't be getting any solution out of it..Actually after reading that poem I felt as if everyone around me is stressed..But you know we don't have any alternative but to live ..And we just take stress , we will get even more stressed...So just chill and relax and do everything without any tension...
Keep on writing..

Wow, someone needs to take a chill pill. Your poem though says a great deal, there is much out there to stress us, if we let it. Life is fast moving and stressful. It is important to have balance and we need to recognise that or we will burn ourselves out. You gave a good account of this, and there was some humour in it to. Also, your poem could apply to other regions, not just South Korea. It has a universal theme about it. Well expressed.

Thank you! I guess it could apply to other countries like America! A lot of us Korean and Japanese too are nagged about marriage so much. xD Luckily I haven't experienced it, but a few of my friends.

Well we don't experiencing the nagging about marriage as much in the west, but all the other things like work, stress, exams etc are common ground.
