When I see you, shining so beautifully

Your happy smile that melts me

Your warm unjudging smile  

I’m colored by you

Even when the darkness comes

The reason I can smile

Is because of you who brightly shines on me

The poem:
You readily achieved the intent depicting familial affection and how it infuses one with caring and warmth. The flow works - even the "love you" repetitions fit. The first stanza - the wording seemed weak - a gaze or look might have helped - recognition of the eyes...
