Fake Facade

This place is dangerous

Each moment was hard

You trapped me and pushed me in

You moved however you want

This suffocating suspense

You flipped over the ending

Why did I find out now?

Now I can’t take it anymore

The moment I opened my eyes to your trap

Why did I think you were so precious?

I’m lost in a maze

In just one moment, this place crashed down

The air is frozen

I’m running out of breath

Nowhere to go

I can’t escape

I erased you from inside of me

Your brazen acts of playing me

Oh my goodness I don’t want a say no more

Don’t wanna feel about it

I don’t wanna see you

I’m turning around and thinking

You’re so fake

This poem is definitely about the collapse of some intimate relationship, and one can almost feel the bitterness and sense of betrayal the speaker describes. There is some repetition, which is a clue that it represents a very sore point. The speaker talks of being trapped more than once, which makes one wonder if the relationship came about through some misrepresentation. He also speaks of everything "crashing down," as though his entire world has been destroyed. This, unfortunately, is an experience most of us go through. Fortunately, we do recover, older but wiser. I hope that is the case with the speaker.

PS: the last line of verse four needs some grammatical corrections.
