Behind Closed Doors

Love is always cherished amoung all groups of people. But secrets are always hidden in the deepest parts.

Love is a very powerful feeling.
Cherished between people of all kind.
Especially when it's two people.
But the love I knew was nothing like the fairy tale.

They would cherish our relationship.
Envy the strong bond that held us together.
Little did they know, love didn't exist.
Behind closed doors.

Constant anger, fights, and scars.
Buried beneath the public image he wanted to show.
Only to feel his secrets would come out.
Little did the know, love didn't exist
Behind closed doors.

Always believed light could be found at the end of the tunnel.
But being with him only presented darkness in the brightest places.
Love, happiness, and romance.
They felt out relationship was defined.
When really it was all a lie.
Little did they know, love never existed
Behind closed doors.

I love this! I understand it so correct me if I'm wrong. So to everyone it seemed liked they loved each other but behind closed doors there is really no love at all it doesn't exist like you said. Their using love as a cover up. EXCELLENT POEM!
