Fracas

Fracas

A Poem by Koleamoku
"

Fracasso. Once you take up arms, the hardest battle is putting them down, and remembering it's not just yourself who wants to.

"

Before we forget to say Good bye,

Before we look back and wonder why,

Before we lose ourselves to the sky,

Hold me in your arms once more.

Remind me not of the endless war,

Or how your news shook me to the core,

Prove that limits have no meaning.

That I can keep from screaming,

Even when I wake and find I was dreaming.

Author's Note

Koleamoku
Kinda meant to be an inner battle - someone's reflection on some conflict. It can be interpreted many ways, what did you read?
