Desire and a Heart to Hearten

Desire and a Heart to Hearten

A Poem by Kole Matheson

Releasing tears,
Celebrating love,
I will free rivers
Before you, oceans
After you, alone again.

The throne on which
Desire rests,
Wears your kiss,
Tastes your breath.
The screaming thumping in my chest
Knows only one name to sing,
Wants only one heart to hearten.

This is romantic. What you have discribed here in this lovely poem is the way a woman wishes her man to think of her. You are indeed a poet. Keep writing.
