Indivisible

Indivisible

A Poem by Kole Matheson

When I see your smiling face,

your warmth is contagious.

Thought of life without you?

Utterly outrageous.

Outraged I'd be if ever I lost you…

lost I'd be without you to talk to.

Why can't more encounters be like we share?

Compare others to you but that's unfair to them,

whom seem unaware when compared to my

ideal.

And I feel appeal

reflects complexity

of individuals.

ndividually complicated

but together indivisible.

Impossible to

divide you and I

beyond the physical.
