Spread the Word

Spread the Word

A Poem by Kole Matheson

I sit back, relax and wonder in my mind, how in this hell I let myself fall so far behind in this life.  I all but entered with a silver spoon, but all Im doin's raisin hell up from night to noon, for myself.  Tribulation trials make me wonder where Im takin myself down the road in life I wanna be somebody.  Work hard in the faith and apply yourself, but kept messin around and sent me back to     , but a bid aint gona stomp me outta my ambition, or hold me still cause Im'a step through they system, wisdom in life is gained in my mistakes, well as provisions for life forever mine to make.  I contemplate until my mind ache, how to better myself, a blessed mind state.  Dont sleep on yourself cause Divines awake, ready to provide and guide the next move to make.

Its the law of attraction that Abidejah showed me, our scenarios outcomes we're continually holding.  Emit the good intention to the universe, cause our thoughts become reality so negative hurt, any aspirations for advancement.  Its hard to accept that you're the archectict, of all the scenarios that get you depressed, well its the first step of many to enlightment.  The good book tell me I should walk firm, I like to sit and read it peacefully and see how it'll speak to me cause every days a journey, torwards the end begin eternity, and all the turning we are subject to, I need guidence cause of too much violence in front my eyelids for me to walk alone.  I thank God I found God to carry me home cause there is too much stumblin when Im alone.  I read my Holy Bible to feed my soul's survival and I prey I aint cast down to gnashing teeth, word of Selassie, "We have aquired the tools, now what will me do with them?"  We gotta spread the blessed word.
