Change

Just a poem on some inner thoughts/desires.

I want to change.

I want to be confident.

I want to be strong.

I want to be sociable.

I want to be happy.

I am none of these.

I am scared..

I am weak.

I am quiet.

I am depressed.

I cannot change

I cannot be confident,

I am too fearful.

I cannot be strong,

I am too fragile.

I cannot be sociable,

I am too timid.

I cannot be happy,

I cannot change.

I want to change.

I want to have strength.

I want to have courage.

I want to have dedication.

I want to have faith.

I want to change.

I cannot change.

I want to be.

I am not.

I will remain.

I will not change.

Author's Note

Poetry is not really my thing. I dabble in it every now and then, but I've never put much effort into being better at it. Advice is still nice as I would eventually like to work on it.
