They say I'm a liar
"She's nothing but a crook The one that stole your fire A love you could only witness in books" "Don't look too deep Into her eyes She looks like a sheep But she's in a clever disguise" There's something strange About this place Something's changed It's a switch of pace Your heart is warm I'm not sure why It takes me like a swarm I cannot lie I'm not used to love I've only been abused But you're calm like a dove And I'm not being used It's beautiful, I think The way you make me feel But I fear you may blink And see through my "false appeal" I pray you won't leave Because of what they say My heart would grieve My sanity would be slayed My love is true I do not lie I would never hurt you At least, I'd never try Just stay with me I'll make you proud I'll make you see That I can be loud I'll show them all That I love you They'll stand in awe As we stand together, it's true I will not falter We will stand ready to carry For we will one day stand at the alter Ready to be married
