A Chapter by Kohleen

1004 ~
Kind and gentle he was. Speaking his name in the days that were filled me with a joy that had not seen my heart in the years since my beginning.
A stable boy, all tall and light, contrasted beautifully with my strikingly dark features.
To talk so freely with him dulled the noise constantly humming in my head. The faces, saddened eyes, became only blurs.
Of course my duties did never cease to continue. But with my new boy, they were easier to let go.
