Chapter 2

 

                At the mayors mansion Weechie sent numbers three five seven and fifth teen to report that the man was eliminated yet the four of the numbers new that it was all a lie for if they were to tell him that the man was alive the mayor was sure to panic if he heard the legendary Grey Wolf Koda was alive and inside his town. The next day at twelfth in the after noon a letter was sent to the mayors residents and the letter said “Sir I have to inform you that the Grand Guardian with be visiting your town with in the days of ninth and the tenth, the mayor knew that today was the eighth and the Grand Guardian would be visiting tomorrow so the mayor screamed loud enough to were the whole mansion could hear him “everyone get everything prepared for the Grand Guardian will be arriving tomorrow!” the whole house including the guards were straightening up for this event for it was a great honor for the Grand Guardian to be appearing in this dead town. Weechie wasn’t that concerned in this matter for greater affairs were in order since there was the Grey Wolf was in this town. So Weechie sent forth three, five, seven, and fifth teen to search for Koda. The four of those guards then split up from the center of the town traveling first to the edges and outskirts then inwards. At four o’ clock in the after noon Koda opened his eyes to see that the entire fun house was lit up the clown he was leaning against was glowing as well but it was getting hotter and hotter by every passing minute until Koda couldn’t stand it and jumped in pain. “Ouch what the hell,” Koda glares at the plastic clown with an evil angry glare “ill get you.”

                Weechie has been looking for Koda for half a day now and the only place left for Weechie to look is the abandoned amusement park, Weechie walks all the way to the amusement through the lonely, ghostly town that he was sworn to protect “I shall catch that thief and bring him to justice,” said Weechie with an angry tone of voice. Weechie walks slowly step by step into the amusement park and he walks right to the torn down fares wheel staring at the green, red, purple, and a whole bunch of other colored lights that kept blinking on and off. Weechie now brings his attention to the fun house which was the only place that was lit, so Weechie walked from the fares wheel and right to the fun house. Right when Weechie takes a step into the fun house Koda walks right from the fun house and without even looking at one another there fists are against one another’s in a clash that made a small shock wave that slightly shook the fair grounds. The buildings that lie in ruins moved from there original positions only slightly while Koda and Weechies fists stay in that clash for a matter of moments before both of the men disappeared with in a blink of an eye. Both males appear on the top of the fares wheel staring at one another with a glare that couldn’t be to a friend or not any normal enemy, this glare only belonged to enemies that you have sworn to kill with all your might. With in another blink of an eye both males disappear meeting in the middle of the roof clashing fists for a count of five hits with both there right and left hands. Weechie wheezed some and vanished appearing five feet away from Koda which remains in the center of that roof and Koda wasn’t wheezing at all, Koda seemed the opposite, he seemed as though he wasn’t tired but excited by Weechies speed. Weechie stared at this man “no,” Weechie said in his head, “monster.” Koda took from under his coat a four inch knife which the sun glared upon it showing a reflection that blinded the ground, the knife from Koda’s right hand then was thrown through the air and right towards Weechie’s right leg, but right before the impact to the cloth of Weechie’s clothing the man named Weechie vanished from that spot and appearing on the opposite building that was right across from were Koda was. Weechie sighs some and says under his breath “your stronger then I had ever expected but I doubt you’ll beat me,” Weechie vanishes once more but appears in front of Koda thrusting his right fist to the face of Koda, Koda quickly grabbed Weechie’s fist with his left hand and used the motion of Weechie’s movement to swing Weechie at the other building opposite of Koda’s location. Weechie flew right into the wall of the building and made a small body like indent on the wall which you couldn’t tell was a human indent. Weechie falls from the side of the building and lands face first on the ground breathing slightly harder now he then whispers out, “how, he takes a little pause then continues “how can you be so much stronger then me!”  Koda stares at Weechie and then replies slowly, “because your so much weaker then I,” Koda raises his right fist and all that Weechie could see was a dark blue form of small energy surround the fist of Koda’s and Koda opened his mouth once more to say “goodbye.” Koda thrusts his fist towards the direction of Weechie’s face but in a moment there was someone in front of Weechie which took that punch in the chest this punch completely obliterated the center of his body and caused the remains to fall right to the floor.

Koda closes his eyes and puts his left hand in front of his mouth were he coughed some in the palm of his hand; some blood came from his mouth and to his palm. Koda look displeased with this and he looked away from Weechie and says “we shall conclude this elsewhere,” with those words said, Koda vanished from Weechie’s sight. Weechie looked like an angel had looked over him but then he thought for a moment that it wasn’t an angel but it was death giving him a warning, that he was so close to death but was saved by the chance of Koda just wanting to leave. Weechie stood from the ground and leaned against the wall behind him that was almost torn to shreds from the impact that Weechie made when his body hit it. Weechie struggled from were he was to walk down the street and towards the central part of town walking down the crusty brick walls and the road which cement almost came right from the ground it was old enough that the single gunshot could break through the layers of cement which lie there.

                Koda is now on top of the hotel which he stayed at the night before he falls onto his left knee, Koda’s back was hunched and he press his left palm now tow his lips coughing once again this time more blood exiting from his mouth and onto his palm which it dripped down the side of his palm, Koda still displeased but this time his face was slightly pale and he then fell onto his stomach his face pressed against the ground, Koda blinked a few times before closing his eyes and falling asleep. At the stroke of the clock signaling that it’s now midnight there lays a dark figure which hides in the shadows of the new moon which lies in darkness and sits on the clock tower before saying “now it has begun.” Then by the third stroke of the clock and the last noise that comes from the clock the dark figure vanished in thin air.

                The next day Koda wakes up on top of the building his eyes open to were his left eye is slowly turning a dark red which looked like a blood red. Koda stands up from were he fell and looked around wondering what happened then look at the blood which stained his right palm. “Not again,” said Koda as he looked away from the blood on his palm, “damn I need some water,” Koda looks around then lets out a sigh before disappearing. Kodas’ form then is across the room from his position before he vanished and Koda looked up once more the shower of bullets stopping. Koda raised an eyebrow is confusion not believing that the men who were shooting would give up so easily in his capture, but before long Koda would be wishing that the men were still shooting for blood dripped from the roof were the bullets holes were and just barely you could see ten me through those holes sliced to pieces only a little of there faces could be seen in all the mess. Koda sensed something strange and jumped from his spot about thirty feet backwards is back almost pressed against the metal walls when the through a window on the opposite side of the room shattered and through that slowly shattering window came a man with hair as red as blood the hair was spiked up about six inches high and the man wore a black cloak buttoned up so you couldn’t see what else he was wearing but you could just see the cold heartless gray eyes he had and the blade that was on his back. The blade looked exactly like a Buster Blade except from below were the hilt stopped the blade was covered so it was hard to tell what kind of blade it was. Koda stared at the man for a moment then chuckled for a few seconds, “Lain how you doing brother?” Koda started laughing again before getting serious face, “didn’t think you would show your face again especially after that time.” The man named Lain starts laughing now as well but only for a matter of seconds before saying, “long time no see my brother how long has it been?” Koda replies with sigh then says, “To long Lain just to long.” Koda and Lain both smile at one another before getting a serious face, both sigh at the same time and Koda says “guess were gonna do this aren’t we?” Lain nods in agreement to Kodas question. Lain took out a small six inch knife and was holding the knife forward and pointed the tip right towards Koda. Lain says in a low voice almost a whisper, “guess its time for this show to finally come to an end.” Lain vanishes from sight for the moment only to appear right in front of Koda a second later, Lain then slashes the knife to the chest of Koda but before Lain could touch Koda’s clothing or body Koda vanished from Lain’s sigh only to appear ten feet away, “guessed you learned a new trick Lain.” Lain smirked some before vanishing once more and in a second was behind Koda moving the knife to stab Koda in the center of his back where the middle of the spinal cord was. Koda turned around before Lain touched him and Koda grabbed the wrist of Lain’s which held the knife in his hand. Koda was smiling almost seemed like Koda was mocking Lain, Lain took his other hand made it into a fist and slammed his fist at Koda’s right cheek. Koda grabbed Lain’s hand holding Lain’s fist tightly in his grasp, Lain vanished once more along with Koda, Lain appear against the wall at the north side of the building while Koda was leaning against the wall on the opposite side.
