BurningA Poem by Mike Cole
His finger tips burned as they touched the hot stove
They watched as I burned myself But they did not care Why would they do this I am a human being They watch me burn And they think it has no meaning But is being angry justified I am trying to see things through someone greater's eyes And over again I fail I am severely angered by these human limitations Only motivated to do good on special occasions Hell dost thou wait for me? Or is that just a fallacy Or am I remembering the only one who can take away this agony?
