The Maker Behind the Mind

There is a problem in todays world. We start to worship science instead of worshiping the Maker behind the Mind.

When I was younger I was intrigued by the fact that science said I was an animal

Infatuated by the idea of being a mammal

Like me and my pet dog had something in common

It was so cool being able to be astonished by science

But then I started to wonder what if all of science wasn’t law

What if all of science wasn’t from God

So I started to do some analysis

Not knowing that from this I might find some truth about the supposed “accident”

I found out that science like anything else can be used for good

So Copernicus and Kepler

In the eyes of God they were big helpers

But we shouldn’t let that make us blind

Because we have to remember the maker behind the mind

The one who gave a brain to Einstein

The same one who gave sir Edmund Hillary the strength to climb Everest

Yea He is certainly illustrious

And let me give you my hypothesis

That sometimes we approach science the wrong way

Because we forget that He created science

And that E equals MC up to the 2 may be true

But what is more important is that Jesus loved you

Enough to breath life into you

Enough to work through you

And give you the mind to study the universe

A mind with the capabilities of studying mother earth 

And all of its inhabitants

But too often we forget that mother earth is not as important as Father God

Who we were made to worship

And He made us for a purpose

 

But back to science for a minute

As stated in my previous thesis

Science should be a tool used for good

We must remember in the Bible Jesus says that God is the only one who is good

 

And as to why I hate being called an animal

God made man on the sixth day

And on the fifth He made animal

And some of you may say it is irrational

Because my God may not be what you call tangible

But in reality this should be a craze

Just look all around you

Look at the complexity of the cell

Do you really think that was the compilation of random occurrence?

Or could it be the assurance

That there is a God out there who is bigger than any human logic

Science will lead the world to a bad place. We need science. It had more damage than good. I like your internal thoughts on a good subject. I believe man, animal and nature need to live in peace. We need the three to get along for us to survive. Thank you for your thoughts in the outstanding poetry.
