Not Allowed to Be Scared 1: The Ultimate Sacrifice

This is the first chapter in my album, Not Allowed to Be Scared. It is the first installment of the album I am making to inspire people with God there is absolutely no reason to be scared.

Sometimes I used to pray and I would feel like nobody listened

But then I realized there’s someone bigger out there

And it hurts to say it but

I was lost in a sea of debris

And that debris was all of the hate closing in on me

The pride, the anger, the jealousy

And I thought that all of this mixed together would be the death of me

So I felt there was no way out

And I felt that I was the only one

Not remembering that there’s a God

Who sent His son

And he can turn pebbles into boulders

Just like he can carry the world on his shoulders

I mean he carried the cross

And was able to bare the thought of sacrifice

Paying the ultimate price

For a sinner like me he gave his life

And no he didn’t just send his son for fun

He sent Him because he knew it was the only way it could be done

The perfect lamb

The bread of life

The one who endured all of the strife so that you could have eternal life 

So reach out to Him

Cause He is always reaching out to you

And He doesn’t want you to just perceive life from a worldview

When what you are really perceiving is the flesh

Trust me when I say the only flesh you want is from the perfect lamb

His name is Jesus

And He wants to be Lord of your being

And if you let Him

I’m guaranteeing

You’ll finally see why He shed His blood for your freeing
