Movie Magick

Words flow ever so naturally across a page

they sound smooth and perfect and charming,

in the movies people say what they say with such confidence and smoothness

its as if everything you say should sound as perfect as that

but you open your mouth and that changes

You stammer and get red.

Your heart wants to speak but seems to forget 

how to say everything it rehearsed over and over again

 in the mirror for hours the night before 

the flow goes off balance and the sleek confident voice in your head mocks your failure

running off with embarrassment shining on your cheeks was nothing like what you had planned

Nothings like the movies I guess.

Thats why I prefer writing to Public Speaking :)
