ReturnA Poem by Suki Matsudai♥
A child plays with a doll on a broken porch swing
she stares at the beautiful curls of the dolls hair as a misty green meadow blows around whimsically in the background. The flawless Earth as it dips and flows with perfection and life. The child grows and matures blossoming like a cherry bud in the spring, Her hair flowing like the grassy meadow from her childhood, She has put aside her dolls and traded them in for make-up and jewels. She falls in love and breaks her heart. Mending and breaking for years on end until she finds one that is forever She grows old and her grassy hair fades ands disappears with illness She remembers the life she has lived the love she has lost and the misty meadows of her past, the soft green ground of the summer , the bright blue sky of morning, and the hazy pink sunset over the horizon behind her home. And as she runs into the arms of her long gone mother, she drifts into endless happiness , the Earth takes her back into her arms and makes her a part of her once more.
