Face the Fear

Face the Fear

A Poem by KoOkY_mOnStEr88
"

Don't really know...I was just rhyming.

"

Through the night

I can fight the fright

But only for so long

Before I start to hear that song

The suffocating tone

Of your voice on the phone

Who can save me from my emotions

And get my mind’s train in motion

Lay the track and step the hell back

I ain’t one to stay on course

I’ll lift this train off the tracks

And take in the lightening as it cracks

Make your body tremble and quake

As my voices roars thunder in its wake

Speak my name and I’ll hear you

Never will I fear you

You mouse squeaks take me back

To when I pulled your thorn and made a pact

You turned on me, so I turn into you faster than fact

Fiction to reality, I’ve now become the beast you used to be

Difference is that I can see

Much clearer than you could

So get back in the mud
