I'm Ready To Remember

I'm Ready To Remember

A Poem by Knoxxeh

I remember all the times at home

Sitting alone playing games with no one to really talk to

I remember the days I didn’t do anything

But sit in bed and sleep in class

I remember the depression that I had

From the bullies and the mean words people said

I remember who I was

About two years ago

I remember how I hated myself

But I changed

The new me set in place

I’m now ready to remember

My Friends

My success

My love

My family

I’m ready to remember the new me

I’m ready to remember this change

I hated when people picked on you bro. I faced bullying in 4th and 5th grade. And I always stood up for you. Even though you were much taller than me and I was this tiny little guy. First friend I had in Brownsburg. One of the best friends I ever had. I will always have your back bro. I'm glad things changed for you for the better. Good job on this work as well.

Lovely transition here!

I liked how you changed the bearing of the piece so abruptly...i like that unpredictability in writing! The pain always happens for us to gain from it and grow! The old memory is worth remembering- we need to come from some where:) But the new one is also too welcome.

~Nicely done~
