She resented his forgiving ways, came to hate him because through all her infidelities he always took her back. It eventually became a test to see how much he could stand .His heart was pure , his nature full of grace.she couldnt stand the fact he was so understanding , so willing to offer everything he had .His homelife had been made a living hell , his posessions broken or damaged . Still he showed the love that reminded constant throughout their relationship.Eventually the preverse nature of their marrage drove him to go , and to never look back.He assured himself that he done all he could to bring her into the truth , anymore sacrafice on his part was fruitless. Her last words spokent to him were " I hate you so much ,but damn, how i wish i could be like you".

Medieval theologian Thomas Aquinas said of Envy: "Envy according to the aspect of its object is contrary to charity, whence the soul derives its spiritual life... Charity rejoices in our neighbor's good, while envy grieves over it."
