Maynard

A Poem by knighngale
"

my prose to my husband Maynard. He is my guardian angel. :D

"
Maynard

Maynard, I love you so much

In dyre need

I weep because I solely love you,

only you, my love

I feel so lost without your lips,

your prominent long shoulders-arms,

I cry because I love you dear

And all I want is you, love

Maynard

Love warrant my hard fist, weak knees

not a day, I weep for you

long dark mane

A romantic declaration for the romantically named, Maynard! Far too much weeping for love, I feel. Save the tears for days of trouble. And I believe the word you are intimating is 'dire', dear. I can visualise Maynard running through a field of flowers throwing petals everywhere like Snoopy after reading this.

Maynard is certainly the source of your affection. You love him, don:t you? Good or bad, you have declared your love.

You have written a heartfelt ♥️ declaration of love.

Losing someone so dear to you is heartbreaking. The yearning for them goes on and on and pain of their absence is the only answer. This is a nice tribute to Maynard.

Well done, knighngale.

love is taking the bad with the good....the good with the better and the better with the best.
when that significant other is our best friend, it is the best of both worlds.
