The feelings inside

It's been a while since I knew how I feel
the constant lingering thoughts have
my mind in motion

My thoughts linger so often out of control
I hold tight to the thought that somehow I might gain
something of this

The days seem long, the nights even longer
it feels so normal to feel crazy, I don't question
it anymore as I did before

I dream of ways to get back to who i used to be
but the reality of it makes me fear what I see

I live knowing we all feel this pain for the hope
to know we belong in this world when everything
seems to change

I know time will tell that things will be clear
The confusion subside, and with hope we
chose to hide our pride

It takes courage to find fault inside, be who you are
when no one else even tries
