What we Seek

What we Seek

A Poem by K-mo

Are people truly happy or is there just enough distractions

to keep our minds in a blur, I conquer all the demons in the

night to keep me from these nightmares

Is there truly someone out there watching over us, holding

our strings and making us move to a certain beat, how can

this be?

Where do we come across the answers we all seek?

Where are you now that you cannot tell me what

I need?

Are there truly other worlds high out of reach?

I'm searching deep for something more to hold onto

other than the unfulfilled dreams that consume me

Where do we come across the answers we all seek?

Where are you now that you cannot tell me what I need?

Genuinely interesting questions regarding existential angst so commonplace that many questions seem rather mundane when really they hold a lot of weight. Well done.
