When One door SlamsA Poem by K-moI stumbled across a hall with many kinds of doors Ones were tall and some were short, some even round or square and swirled around But what door would be the one I shall enter because journey must not end here, I want to know where it will take me from here My mind is whirling with all the different opportunities the mystery makes my heart pound so loudly, as I stand here in this hall; feeling quite small but oddly tall When one door slams, another door is ready to be open and here to hoping it is the one that makes my journey whatever it was supposed to be, and hope that I don't lose my way I stumbled across a door that stood out from all the rest it wasn't anything special, in fact it was quite plain but yet it held my gaze, and the more I stood there wondering I felt my feet wandering ever closer I hesitate opening up the door and ponder some more what is it about this particular door that makes my heart sore?! I close my eyes and soon feel my fingers latch tightly around the cold door handle and without a word I open the door and enter, and from what I see is nothing but light, so bright I fear I might lose sight I close my eyes for just one moment and then open my eyes and then it is dark, what happened to that light that once made my eyes sore.. I mustn't have opened the right door © 2014 K-moReviews
