You are More than Just a Memory

You are More than Just a Memory

A Poem by K-mo

I could easily just end it all, I got lots of problems and

you are the one that hurts the most out of them all

I thought life would be easy and I thought nothing would

make me fall but looking back and reminiscing I see where

I was wrong about it all

I could easily just wash all the years away, let my mind just simply

fade to gray but as I saw you in your fate I knew right then what was

at stake and I know there is no turning back for you so there is just one

thing left that I could do and that is to remember what used to be more

than just a memory of you

I thought long and hard of life and its trials and how happiness is just a

state of denial, who can truly know what happiness holds when sadness

soon after unfolds, where is the way out of the hell I made because all of

this talk of wars  and hate makes me so very afraid.. there has got to be an

end to all this here and in death that seems what it appears
